The last major stop on this grand camping adventure was Zion National Park. I'd been wanting to visit Zion since my freshman year of college six years ago (yes, I know I'm old), when a group of friends went camping there for a guy's trip. Unfortunately, our first day, my sister and I arrived rather late in the afternoon so we just went to dinner and read on the river by our campground until it got dark. The next morning we woke up bright and early and took the shuttle to the Narrows. The Narrows is one of Zion's most popular hikes, and from what I saw, I can see why. It was amazing to walk through the canyon and wade through the water, even if it was freezing and often times, I was knee deep in water. After we finished hiking the Narrows we went to Zion Brewpub to refuel our bodies and then headed to Las Vegas where we had dinner at the Paris Buffet and slept in a proper bed for the first time in eight days! In the morning we packed up and finished our journey home. Beerflight with all Utah beer at Wildcat Willies Bumbleberry pie- it's so good, we had it twice! The tranquil river behind our campground Couldn't think of a better place to read a book The beginning of the hike to the Narrows Somebody's excited... YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!! Feeling like Moses parting the Red Sea ;) Beerflight from Zion Brewpub Zion Love Locks Quick stop in Vegas to split up the drive home, eat at the Paris Buffet and sleep in a real bed Home :)
