After being home for a few weeks I was itching to get back out there and travel again. I thought about going to either Chicago, Omaha or Asheville. But when I really thought about it, my mind kept going back to Austin so I took it as a sign and booked a flight.
This trip I was able to hang out with a friend from Austin and he showed me some of the local spots. We did some hiking in North Austin, tried out the new brewery at the Oasis, bar hopped on Rainy Street and even went two stepping at Midnight Rodeo. I also got to do some exploring on my own. I went to one of the best ice cream places in Austin, Lick, explored South Congress and even found a couple of Austin's best statutes and murals. This trip was was definitely a life changer, it reassured me that I do need to make the move to Austin and I'm really hoping that I can make it happen soon!
