After being home for a few weeks I was itching to get back out there and travel again. I thought about going to either Chicago, Omaha or Asheville. But when I really thought about it, my mind kept going back to Austin so I took it as a sign and booked a flight. This trip I was able to hang out with a friend from Austin and he showed me some of the local spots. We did some hiking in North Austin, tried out the new brewery at the Oasis, bar hopped on Rainy Street and even went two stepping at Midnight Rodeo. I also got to do some exploring on my own. I went to one of the best ice cream places in Austin, Lick, explored South Congress and even found a couple of Austin's best statutes and murals. This trip was was definitely a life changer, it reassured me that I do need to make the move to Austin and I'm really hoping that I can make it happen soon! I feel like airports have become my second home Hiking around North Austin Levi, the dorkiest and most awesome dog I've ever met. This pup belongs in a dog commercial don't am I right?! The Oasis- such a cute shopping center right on Lake Travis Brewery- it's like a country club for beer drinkers :) Life size Jenga at Oasis Brewery, still bitter about the loss ..... Got to enjoy this awesome beer flight at Craft Pride down on Rainy Street I just love the style of the bars on Rainy My favorite bar on Rainy- Lucille Patio Lounge, because what's better than hammocks and corn hole?! Enjoying some Souther Tier Mokah at Easy Tiger, a bakery and beer garden on 6th Street! Ended the night by going two stepping and line dancing at Midnight Rodeo If you are looking for unique flavors and delicious ice cream, this is the place to go Enjoying some Coconut & Avocado Curd ice cream... so good Stumbled upon this Before I die wall while exploring South Congress The most beautiful door I've ever seen Margarita with a chili rim, the only way to survive a summer afternoon in Austin Checking out the plethora of boots at Allens Boots The Willie Nelson Statute in Downtown Austin Everything really is bigger in Texas, especially the star outside the Texas State Museum This would've been 10 times more awesome if I wasn't single ha! The end of a great trip!
