Arches was one of my favorite parts of the trip because the scenery was simply amazing and I highly recommend this national park to anyone looking for good hikes with a beautiful scenery and a town with great food and beer!
The morning after Mesa Verde, my sister and I began our journey back home. We decided to drive through Utah and visit some of the state's national parks. Our first stop was at Arches National Park in Moab, where we decided to glamp in a teepee the first night. For those of you that don't know, glamping is glamorous camping and the place we chose (despite the high winds at night) couldn't have been better. It was just north of the park and was the cutest campground ever, filled with teepees and safari tents. For our first day at the park, we hiked up to Delicate Arch and drove through what looked like Radiator Springs. Seriously, it felt like we stepped into the setting of Cars, it was just that unreal! Later that night we found another KOA Campground (I know... we're obsessed) and stayed the night. This campground was awesome because it had a pool and after a day of hiking through the desert in high winds, jumping in the water was just what the doctor ordered. Our last day, we went back to the park and hiked the North and South Windows and Double Arch. This was one of my favorite hikes because it was an easy one mile hike and very picturesque. Arches was one of my favorite parts of the trip because the scenery was simply amazing and I highly recommend this national park to anyone looking for good hikes with a beautiful scenery and a town with great food and beer! LIFE ELEVATED!!! Quick stop at the Hole n' the Rock Grabbing the bull by the horns Just me being obsessed with our glamping campground The view that made the 1.5 mile hike uphill during high winds completely worth it The extent of my yoga knowledge Just driving through Radiator Springs..... The beer list at Moab Brewery- a great place to stop by for food, beer and ice cream! Our KOA campsite Taking a picture with the famous Moab red dirt Super stoked to be at Arches The North and South Windows Our last stop at Arches- Double Arch!
