I know what you're thinking... why would she need a vacation before a vacation?! and you are exactly right! But the truth is, that when A and I decided to go to Florida for spring break, flights were pretty expensive. We found out that flying out of Seattle would have cost us $200 less per ticket. So we figured why not fly out of Seattle and make a mini vacation out of it. We were in Seattle for about 24 hours and spent it trying out the local beer and eating, because is there any other way to vacation? (beer +seafood= perfection in my book!) Then we hopped on a red eye and spent the next week in Tampa. Stay tuned for a blog post next week about my week in Florida and my first spring break ever!
First Seattle brewery!
My favorite color is orange, so I instantly fell in love with Stoup Brewing and their Berliner Weisse!
Fremont Brewing- this place was HIGHLY recommended and I can see why. Their Sour Weisses are amazing!
Couldn't visit Seattle without having some coffee! Had some great coffee and pastries from Fremont Coffee Company. Unfortunately, the guy who makes Darth Vader foam art wasn't there that day :( but the foam art was still pretty cool
Accidental Fremont Troll crossing
Excuse the face, I was just trying to figure out my self stick remote
Obligatory Pikes Place Market pic
Decided to switch it up and try some ginger beer at Rachel's Ginger Beer
Calamari on the water? yes please!
Last Seattle brewery!
The AMAZING view from Kerry Park
Ready for our red eye to Tampa
